Bridget Henry lives and works by the sea in North Santa Cruz County. Her reduction woodblock prints combine bold color, rough line work, and narrative subjects into highly personal works. Her image are emotive, provocative, and dreamlike. Bridget is a graduate of University of California Santa Cruz, and a 2001 recipient of the James D. Phelan Art Award in Printmaking. Bridget worked closely with the MAH as a commissioned artist in 2017, contributing a custom animation to the Lost Childhoods exhibition.
